The press conference announcing the partnership between ICN Business School and Global Education (GEDU) took place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in the hushed salons of Excelsior, Nancy's iconic Art Nouveau brasserie. Florence Legros, Managing Director of ICN, and Dr. Vishwajeet Rana, CEO of GEDU, answered questions from journalists and the trade press.

A solid model in a competitive environment

In an increasingly competitive business school environment, management schools need to invest in their future, their infrastructure and their teaching content, in order to remain among the best. In this context, ICN is constantly seeking to progress and reinvent itself.

After the symbolic milestone of obtaining the triple crown (EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB) in 2020. After the opening of the Berlin campus and the steady increase in student numbers (+8% this year). ICN opens a new chapter in its history with Global Education (GEDU).

Strengthen the future and shine with Global Education

Global Education (GEDU) is a British higher education group with a presence in 12 countries and 60,000 students. This recognized player has a solid academic model, expertise in digital teaching and continuing education.

The rapprochement was based on shared fundamental values of open-mindedness, research performance and, ultimately, academic excellence. The resulting partnership will provide ICN with the financial support it needs to meet the structural and developmental challenges we wish to set ourselves.

For GEDU, the partnership will enable it to continue its expansion in France with a partner of choice, following its successful establishment in 12 countries including Spain, the USA and Australia.

A promising future for ICN

On the eve of the school's 120th anniversary, this strategic partnership marks a turning point for ICN. It aims to support the school's growth in France and internationally, and open up new prospects for students, faculty and administrative teams.

This partnership enables ICN to retain total autonomy in the way it develops: academic excellence and pedagogical innovation remain at the heart of the school's strategy. This key step will enable ICN to offer its students and future students rewarding prospects.
